We’re back in 1958, and it’s time for the Wonderettes to graduate in this delightful sequel to last season’s hit! Join Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy as they sing about their final year in high school, celebrate and prepare for their next step toward a bright future. Act Two zooms ahead to 1968, where the girls celebrate Missy’s marriage to Mr. Lee! Featuring “Rock Around the Clock,” “At the Hop,” “Dancing in the Street,” “River Deep, Mountain High” and 25 more hits, The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps & Gowns will have you cheering for more!

AUDRA CRAMER Attention: Eyes! Audra is absolutely thrilled to be performing at Geva in a role she’s played three times before at The Oregon Cabaret Theatre. She most recently played Aquata in The Little Mermaid at Arkansas Repertory Theatre. When she is not performing on stage, Ms. Cramer works as a music director and private voice/piano instructor in NYC. She has been the Head Music Director at Long Lake Camp for the Arts for the past five summers. Thanks to Melissa, Don, Rachael, Christina, and Ally for this dream experience. And super special thanks to Paudra, Mom, Dad, and Family for their continuous support.

ROGER BEAN | Creator

ROGER BEAN is the creator of the long-running Off-Broadway smash hit The Marvelous Wonderettes, which has played in hundreds of theatres around the world. Mr. Bean also created two popular sequels for the song leaders from Springfield High: The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gownsand the holiday celebration, Winter Wonderettes. Original cast albums for all three Wonderettes shows are available online at Amazon and iTunes. Additional jukebox hits from Mr. Bean include Summer of Love, The Andrews Brothers, Why Do Fools Fall in Love?, Route 66 and the doo-wop hit  Life Could Be a Dream, recipient of the LA Drama Critics Circle Award, the LA Weekly Theatre Award and the Backstage Garland Award for Outstanding Musical.


MELISSA RAIN ANDERSON returns to Geva Theatre Center, where she is an Artistic Affiliate. IAN HILDRETH | Sound Design

IAN HILDRETH has been designing and audio engineering at Geva Theatre Center for eight years. Past designs include Spamalot, the world premiere of The Road to WhereThe 25thAnnual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Pump Boys and DinettesMoM: A Rock Concert Musical, Next to Normal, Avenue Q, Fences, 3 Mo’ Divas and Carry It On. Associate designs include The Whipping Man, Dracula, Two Jews Walk Into a War and Radio Golf.


STEPHIE KESSELRING is delighted to return to Geva Theatre Center for her seventh season. Some favorite productions at Geva include Spamalot!A Moon for the Misbegotten, Little Shop of Horrors, The 39 Steps, Good People, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Perfect Wedding, Over the Tavern and Next to Normal.
