An Approach to Directing
Cost: $8 for noon session
$12 for evening session

Join Geva Artistic Director Mark Cuddy as he discusses his approach to directing a play, from new work to the classics. How does a director prepare for rehearsal? What exactly is the director’s role in shaping a production? How does the director collaborate with designers and actors? What’s the difference between directing a musical or a drama or a new play? For Geva, Mr. Cuddy’s credits include the recent production of Vigil, the musicals A Chorus Line and 1776, the World Premieres of Convenience, Theophilus North, Famous Orpheus and the upcoming premiere of Splitting Infinity, as well as classics including Hamlet and The Miser.
