17 Broadway hopefuls audition for a place in the chorus line of the new unnamed musical, however only eight will be chosen. Along the way they relate the stories of their lives -- their disappointments, their dreams, and the professional rejections and successes. A Chorus Line celebrates the unsung heroes of musical theatre – the chorus dancers – as the audience roots for their favorites, and empathizes with them all.
