The bright, sensitive Hamlet is ripped from his studies abroad to return to Elsinore Castle. There, the Prince is confronted by his father’s death, his mother’s remarriage to his uncle, and the ghost of his father who haunts him onto a path of revenge. Shakespeare’s masterpiece of life, death and the emotional turmoil of a grieving son, the most well-known character in all of dramatic literature.
