The Story: Tuesdays is the autobiographical story of sportswriter Mitch Albom and his former college sociology professor Morrie Schwartz. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch finds himself a successful, career-obsessed journalist. He happens to see his mentor on Nightline; Morrie is now suffering from Lou Gehrig's Disease. Mitch decides to make just one farewell visit to see his old professor. Once he's there, Morrie asks him the question: "Are you being as human as you possibly can?"; As Mitch attempts to answer this, his one-time visit becomes a weekly ritual, and Morrie's lectures in sociology are replaced with lessons on the meaning of life and love.
